The Zombieland Reviews are out! The verdict? For the most part, quite good! The comedy/horror releases nationwide tomorrow, Friday, October 2nd. Read more below.
The film stars Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin and is directed by Ruben Fleischer.
Here’s the story line:
Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) doesn’t have fears. If he did, he’d kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they’re about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.
Woody Harrelson is by far one of my favorite actors. I mean really…ever since Cheers…well, who wouldn’t love this guy? I’m not really into the whole horror flick thing, but for him, I’ll shell out my $10 just to see him on the screen. A reader sent in his take of the movie to Slash Film and shares my love of everything Woody as well, and said….
“I had been on the fence about the movie, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to see it or not. I’ve never been the biggest fan of zombie films (too much rotting flesh for my taste), but I love Woody Harrelson, and everything I had seen from it so far looked really funny. As it turns out, I was laughing too hard most of the time to really get a very good look at the zombies, anyway.”
Bill Goodykoontz of the Arizona Republic gives the movie 4/5 stars and also mentions how good Harrelson is. Need I say more?
